Amazing place to stay especially if a larger group (there was 15 of us). The house had more than enough space, including a large plan kitchen that made cooking for 15 quite easy...there's a pool table, hot tub, sauna, steam room and a great lounging area for late night games. Definitely recommend if looking for a quiet getaway to chill in a lovely part of the country.

The perfect place for a family of mixed generations to stay for a celebration due to flexibility of the rooms and beds. Pictureworks has just a few steps down into the property and it has all the facilities you could possibly want for a relaxing stay all on one level. The play tent in the garden for the children to use, along with a selection of board games and toys kept our lot fully occupied throughout the weekend - even in the rain! The spa and pools along with the sauna and steam room were fully utilised and appreciated by all. The place was spotlessly clean, very spacious and warm with superior quality bedding, furnishings, appliances and facilities. The industrial style was easy to live in and functioned well. It was nice to have exclusive use of the shared pool and to have all the pools and jacuzzi maintained daily. An ideal base to explore the area.

Amazing place with a private pool and a bigger pool, both heated and the bigger pool you are given allocated times for which still makes it private. There was also a jacuzzi and a sauna where we enjoyed relaxing. Lastly there was also a pool table, table tennis table and foosball table. Although the area was very beautiful there was no reason to leave the house. An incredible stay, I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going

We came for a hen weekend last weekend and had the most amazing time. The house is huge and has absolutely everything you need to host a big group including activities to keep everyone busy. The house was also spotless! I’m unsure what the people who left bad reviews were up to but we stuck to the no noise after 10pm rule and had absolutely no issues with complaints as you can’t hear a thing from outside if you keep the doors closed (including karaoke until 4am) George and Gill were lovely hosts who were on hand if we had any problems. I would highly recommend the cedar barn for big groups! Thanks you George and Gill!

What a place! My sister organised my hen-do in this house and it was absolutely perfect! It was a great entertaining house with spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. The location, cleanliness, facilities and in particular the host was fantastic, would highly recommend! Thank you again Gill for helping out with our casualty, you were fab!

Had a lovely time at the Threshing Barn to celebrate my wife's and myself,s retirement, swimming pool, hot tub, games room was excellent and really enjoyed by all the family! Gill the host was very welcoming on arrival, left us to enjoy our time there but was on hand if we needed her. Would definitely return at some point in the future, thankyou Gill and George.

I stayed here with my family October half term and it was absolutely brilliant. There were 9 adults and 5 children (all under 9) altogether and there was plenty of space for all of us. We stayed in the pictureworks so had the private spa and it was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the private swimming pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend staying here, Gill was so friendly and helpful. She told us all about the local walks and the local pubs. If you are looking for a peaceful week/weekend with your family or friends this is the place to stay. We can not wait to come back.

Had the most lovely time here at the house, it was very spacious with plenty of beds and seating. There were 8 adults and 1 child in our party, nobody got under each others feet at any point! The beds were very comfy and each bedroom was very spacious with very nice bathrooms and lovely little touches here and there. The games room was used a lot! It was quiet in the bedrooms at night time when my little one went to bed and once we closed the kitchen door she couldn't hear our noise from the dining room or the living room. We spent a lot of time in the house due to the weather but it was perfect for relaxing or playing games. We also made good use of the hot tub, sauna and the heated pools. It was extremely well kitted out in the kitchen, if you could think of something you wanted - it was there! The surrounding area was filled with lovely plants and flowers and we caught some lovely sunsets over the side gate. Our host was very cheery and attentive and she also made us a cake for our arrival (which we devoured of course!) We didn't want to leave, it really felt like a home! Highly recommended but don't book as we'd like to go back back!!

We had a fantastic time at Little Upton. 12 of us stayed in the Threshing and Apple barns. The pool was brilliant - heated to a perfect temperature and spotless. Ditto for the private hot tub, which was large enough for plenty of people. The accommodation itself is top notch. There's a lot of care and attention to detail been invested into this place. Rather surprised at some of the negative reviews. Gill and her family are lovely. They were friendly, flexible and very accommodating. They live on site, but you wouldn't know, as they keep out of sight and don't interfere. It was a nice touch to have a goodbye visit. Perfect hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
